People for Cattle in India (PFCI) is a non-governmental organization〔(Petition filed by PFCI against Illegal Cattle Trafficking in Indian Express )〕 and nonprofit organization focusing on illegal cattle trafficking and slaughtering. PFCI has saved more than 1000 cattle lives in India. PFCI has been closely working with various Government, NGOs (non-government organizations), SHGs (self help groups) and CBOs (community-based organisations). The organization was founded on Oct 22nd 2012 by Shri Arun Prasanna G, a well renowned animal activist.
